The project includes the construction of two storage hangars. The first hangar is a 30,000 SF storage hangar, with a 6,000 SF shop/office lean-to area, and a 2,500 SF Ground Service Equipment (GSE) storage area. The second hangar is a 17,000 SF storage hangar with a 3,500 SF shop/office lean-to area. The master plan for this location includes provisions for the future expansion of additional aircraft storage hangars. The project included the concurrent construction of a 10,700 SF Fixed Base Operator (FBO) with a customer lobby, corporate offices, conference room, pilot’s lounge, customer restrooms, customer support spaces, break room, and tenant office spaces. The FBO includes a 5,000 SF vehicle porte cochere drop-off area and an aircraft canopy with a clear span of 128′-0″ and a vertical clearance of 30′-0″. The project also included the design and construction of an aviation fuel farm with two, 20,000 gallon Jet A fuel tanks, and a 20,000 gallon AvGas fuel tank.
